I took our 2016 ford explorer to irowood shop after getting another quote for over $8,200. Josh fixed the defroster, along w the heat and ac in the first row. He replaced the tire rods, control arms, and did a realignment. I was told there was an immediate problem w the steering by other shop, which there was not. I was also told previously that the serpentine belt needed replacement, which it did not. Josh did discover an additional problem that he said will need replacement in 2 to 3 years and even gave me a cost estimate to fix it in the future. The work he completed was $3,001. That's a 5 thousand dollars difference! Josh explained that his fix of only doing the first row would make the driver and passenger comfortable and most importantly, safe! This option was never explained or even offered at the other shop. Josh explained that the other shop does great work but this would be appropriate abd SAFE for our 2nd car that an 18 year old would be driving. Josh was extremely professional in his explanation, never did he say negative things of the other shop, he just gave alternatives that would be effective and efficient.
